Nice hike. Drive CA state Hwy 12 several miles east of Santa Rosa, take Lawndale south. I parked at the Lawndale trailhead (about 550' elev), hiked up to the Marsh trail, Pig Flat trail, Schultz trail back to the paved road and another 1.4 miles back to the car. All in all 7.1 miles with about 700' elevation gain.
Red-shouldered hawks at the beginning. Ducks, little tweety birds, wild turkeys, deer, dead snake and newts.
