Marin County Farmers' Market and Las Gallinas sanitation facility. The farmers' market is usually very crowded, but today there was intermittent rain so there were fewer people. Lots of good stuff is coming into season - especially the strawberries, which are HUGE and sweet.

The sanitation district smells like poo at the parking lot, but the trails go out towards the San Francisco Bay, and there are scads of birds there. Among the raptors we saw were a Male Northern Harrier ("Gray Ghost"), Red-Tailed Hawks, and a White-Tailed Kite. Lots of ducks and other waterfowl, western bluebirds, red-winged blackbirds, much much more. We got showered on the last mile or so, but it was still a very nice walk.

Later, the snakes came out to play. They are good snakes.
