Late start, so it was windy on the westbound parts. Some times it seems really easy, sometimes I have to work for every inch of forward progress. Today was one of those days where I felt I had to work, especially on those windy parts, like the long slightly uphill straightaway on Roblar Road. Still, I sorta got in a groove towards the end, and ultimately got a mile more than Monday, and shouldn't have too much trouble getting 25 on Friday to get the odometer to 2100, and the 300-mile service.
Dead gopher snake on Bloomfield. Big flock (about 25?) of large birds with white bodies and black-tipped wings - from my description, Terrie suggests pelicans. I snapped a picture (the third one here).
