Nothing much to report, except it still kicks my butt. I took the side road into a nice little valley. There was a weird little hunter's camp down there. The road curved back around and met up with the road that goes to the summit. Actually, this is the route seen on the maps/elevation profiles I did earlier.

I'm a *little* bit faster on the downhill, I think; a tiny bit more comfortable on my bike.

I have almost no tread left in the center of the rear tire - I passed 1900 miles on the odometer on this ride.

I thought I hadn't taken any pictures, but I guess I did snap a couple of the buttercups etc painting the hillside. These two appear to be almost identical, but I'll include 'em both...
