This shows how the "old" trail includes a BIG downhill before the final climb to Loma Alta. The road you see is now marked "no tresspassing," so you actually have to climb through the trees left of center, on a single-track known as the Solstice trail. Looked like a lot of mountain bikers had some serious fun on that trail - a little too "technical" for me right now, but who knows?.
